Deuterium called heavy hydrogen, under normal temperature and pressure is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic flammable gas, a stable isotope of ordinary hydrogen. It contains ~ 0.0157% 0.0139% in normal hydrogen in water. Its chemical properties are identical with ordinary hydrogen. But a large mass, the reaction rate is smaller. Particle bombardment is mainly used for special light bulbs, nuclear research, deuteron accelerator, tracers, 1 ~ 3% D2 + N2 gas mixture is used extensively for low water peak fiber processing.
